First Ilocanos Settlers of Sibugay
[edit]Custodio Pascua Mariano Sr. arrived in 1928. He was the first to set foot from Luzon. He studied nursing at general hospital school in Zamboanga city and graduated in 1932. He was the founder of Titay town naming it in honor of his beloved cousin Cristita Mariano Bautista nicknamed Titay from Urdaneta city.
