Spelling problem
[edit]In Wikipedia the "capitol i" and lower-case L appear identical and therefore it is 100% unclear whether this location is called "Iolcos" or "IOICOS" or "Lolcos" or "Loicos." It seems pretty much a given that around 99% of readers of this article will not be able to tell which it is, since this location is extremely unknown and "obscure." In my opinion, at the least a pronounciation should be provided.
It's not 100% unclear if you check the URL. 79.136.46.216 (talk)
- Actually, yes it still is, but that's not the big problem here. The way the article title is spelled, Iolcos, is not a spelling that is ever used in English (except here, apparently). The Latin spelling is Iolcus, and the Greek is usually transliterated Iolkos, as the article mentions. Where a name occurs in both these languages, English generally uses the Latin spellings, particularly when the name occurs more in mythology than in history, as is the case here.
